Directions:

1. from: Barnetby le Wold Train Station:

• Turn right out of station onto Kings Road, at mini round-a-bout turn right (2nd exit), continue through village & out into countryside to T-Junction, turn right direction ‘Bigby’.
• Continue into Bigby village to T-Junction, turn left direction ‘Grasby’ & ‘Caistor’ (A1084).
• Follow road for approx 2 miles, take right turn onto local road sign posted ‘Owmby’ & ‘North Kelsey Moor’, follow through Owmby village onto narrow road, at T-Junction, ‘The Queens Head’, is to your left.

2. from: M180 Junction 4:

• From M180 Junction 4, follow the A18 into ‘Brigg’.
• Continue through Brigg to round-a-bout, take 2nd exit direction A18 ‘Grimsby’, follow road to next round a bout.
• Take 2nd exit direction ‘Caistor’ A1084.
• Continue on road out into countryside for approximately 2 miles until turn on right onto B1434 direction ‘Howsham’, ‘North Kelsey’ & ‘Market Rasen’.
• Follow this road approx 5 miles through Howsham and into countryside.
• Take turning on left direction ‘North Kelsey Moor’, ‘Grasby’ & ‘Caistor’, continue on road over railway crossing, ‘The Queens Head’ is on your left.

3. from: A46

(a. from Newark direction)

• Coming up the A46 from Newark, head to ‘Caistor’. The A46 runs past Caistor on the left hand side.
• Take the 3rd Turning on the left (with slip road) into Caistor and then immediate left again into Caistor itself.
• Follow this road down through Caistor until you reach a sweeping right hand bend with a left turning off it.
• Take this left turn – direction ‘North Kelsey, Howsham & Brigg’. Keep following this road out of Caistor (past Cherry Valley) into countryside.
• Approximately 3 miles out of Caistor (straight through at crossroads) you will see a railway crossing, The Queens Head is situated approximately 200yds before this crossing on the right hand side.

(b. from Grimsby direction)

• Coming up the A46 from Grimsby, head to ‘Caistor’. Take the 1st turning on right hand side into Caistor – Be Careful!, this can be a very dangerous junction, be aware of road markings!
• Once you have crossed over take the immediate left again into Caistor itself.
• Follow this road down through Caistor until you reach a sweeping right hand bend with a left turning off it.
• Take this left turn – direction ‘North Kelsey, Howsham & Brigg’.
• Keep following this road out of Caistor (past Cherry Valley) into countryside.
• Approximately 3 miles out of Caistor (straight through at crossroads) you will see a railway crossing, The Queens Head is situated approximately 200yds before this crossing on the right hand side.
